A New Me

I joined SP at the end of 2009 and managed to lose 95 pounds by walking and tracking my food. But then my weight stalled within sight of my goal. After a few months of no change, the tracking felt more like an unwanted chore. I fell away and the weight returned (with friends).

I kept coming back to SP because I knew it worked for me, but I just couldn't revive that level of desire and willpower I had back then.

Baby steps!

-Get up and move around for at least 5 minutes each hour.

-Control emotional and overeating habits.

Happily married in beautiful Vermont. We're childfree and share our lives with 2 cats. I love to read, write, walk, spend time with family, be online, etc., etc....

Thank you for commenting on my blog entry, Christine. I have lost interest in most of my hobbies. I had a lot of creative type hobbies and my creativity has gone downhill. Ugh I feel so lost.

I'm sorry to hear you have a cold! Vitamin C will help if taken on a regular basis. I take 2000 mg of vitamin C during the cooler months to boost my immune system. I hope you get to feeling better soon!

Thank you sooo much for your comment on my blog! It's nice to know I'm not alone in this. Does your med regimen work well? Do you still have symptoms? Sorry I have so many questions. I'm just happy I met someone with the same disorder!
