Day one of our four day bike trip, and my hair's already a mess!
I was diagnosed with Celiac's Disease on July 26th, 2009. Since going gluten-free, my weight loss journey has become MUCH easier than before... and since I've discovered I'm also allergic to half a dozen other things, it's actually gotten to be a huge challenge to find enough to eat during the day! But I'm getting on top of things and feeling SO much better!!!
Just spent the last 9 months over on Babyfit, making friends and experiencing one of the smoothest pregnancies I've ever heard about. Now the proud mother of a very handsome little boy - he and I will be eating healthy, exercising and learning about life together!
Goal #1: 200lbs by Dec 10th (birthday) - hit it!
Goal #2: To just be overweight - HIT IT! 11/09 I officially dropped out of obesity completely
Goal #3: firmly size 16 by Feb 14th - hit it! - Size 14 actually!
Goal #4: 180 as a heavy-day weight by March 20th - Missed it by two weeks!
Goal #5: Firmly 170 again by March 30th, 2011
Goal #6: Back to jogging twice a week by March 30th, 2011
Goal #7: To break into being "normal" weight - target 12/10/2011
also, to eat enough protein and calories during the day!
Gluten-free (Diagnosed Celiac's Aug 2009) with other food allergies thrown in for fun :)
Things I'm avoiding eating:
Dairy, soy, chocolate, caffeine,broccoli, cabbage, and refined sugar
Current things I can eat in small amounts at intervals:
Peppers, carrots, garlic
Things I seem to have no problem with:
Cherries (yah!), most other fruit, most vegetables, corn, quinoa, rice, potatoes, BEEF!!, olive, palm and coconut oil, coconut milk, NUTS.
Outside of being ridiculously mindful of my diet, I also bike, jog with the WiiFit and lift weights almost every day. It's not unusual for me to burn more calories in exercise than my total intake for the day, but I'm REALLY trying to get better about that!
