I lost the weight once. I can lose it again.

I started spark in 2007. I lost SEVENTY pounds in 8+ months. That was an incredible experience which has changed my life for the better. I haven't looked and felt that great since high school.

I would like to thank my support group for everything they have done. My friends and family and this website.

I have gained 45 pounds back over the last four years. My father and brother both passed away during that time and I started emotionally eating to deal with the losses. ...

I know it was wrong but I didn't know any other ways to cope. I'm starting to move on from all the emotional pain of losing them and the emotional eating has gotten under control. I started back up January 2016 and have lost around 7 pounds. I know I can reach my goal weight of 2007 with hard work and determination. This isn't a diet this is a lifestyle change!!

This website has brought me together with great, inspirational people who are looking for the same things as me. The resources this site provides are excellent and its amazing that the site is free of cost.

I have started tracking foods and exercising more and the results have been good. I know what I have to do to get in shape and lose the extra weight. I just need to put in the time and effort.

If anyone needs support or wants to make a new friend then leave me a sparkmail. Supporting one another makes anything we try to accomplish a little easier. I'm a good listener and can help support you in any way necessary.

Hi, I see you're back after a break too-I first started SP in 2008, and really enjoyed getting healthier and losing 75 pounds, about halfway to my goal. Then health problems started and half of those pounds found me again!

I'm excited to be back here, glad you are too! We know it works when we do! Oh, and I'm sorry for the loss of your family members-I know how rough that is!

You are an inspiration. Congratulations on setting your goals to lose the gained weight. I too am working hard to reduce my weight. I joined SP in July 2014 and lost 37 pounds in 6 months. I have gained at least 10 back and I can't seem to get back down. SP helped me then and I know it will help me again.

We are in the long haul together. Thanks to all the SparkFriends and the inspiration and motivation received from them.

emoticon Are You Tracking Today all that you eat?

Did YOU remember to Drink emoticon to stay Hydrated?

Are You eating enough calories?

Are You Familiar with portion sizes?

It is all about calories in versus calories out..... Have you gone for your walk today? If not, are you ready?

House work is good..... But a brisk walk is better! Being Accountable to one's self is Reward in it's own merit...

Be Blessed and Keep Moving.... Play a little music and put a little swing into your step....to burn more calories!
