My name is Melinda I am a 29 year old stay at home mom and student. I have been overweight pretty much my whole life from chunky to obese to chubby basically all over the place. After having my daughter I have made a vow to maintain a healthy lifestyle and I have lost an entire person in the process. I never was one to workout but was an avid dieter. I have found a love for working out and testing my fitness ability and trying new things. Jogging a mile for the first time is a great feeling. I can remember as a kid, I wouldn't even try to jog a mile, I was happy walking it. When I workout my whole life is smoother sailing and I'm a happier person. I do fall off the bandwagon from time to time and I love food. I love cooking, eating, drinking, but; I also love feeling healthy. My weight loss has been a way to find balance in discovering new things I love and keeping my body healthy and enjoying all the things that are not so healthy. I am currently back on the bandwagon at meeting my fitness goals after a hiatus of sleep deprivation, long work hours, being a student, being a mommy, and making not so healthy choices. My average weight for the past few years is 145-150 depending on how much I've been baking and am currently at around 155 and my jeans are feeling a bit tight so taking the opportunity of having lost my temporary job to enjoy taking care of myself again

My Program:
Counting calories and trying to eat clean most of the time. I don't deny myself or consider myself on a diet but I try to "clean up" my diet. Eating 1200-1500 calories.
Jogging, gym, circuit training, insanity, p90x, zumba, crossfit, hip hop dance, hula hooping, hiking
