2016 December

its been five years since i've been here. Thanks to the last year at muay thai, i'm a LOT stronger than before, but something is off -only its not inches or pounds. I don't like how dh avoids my midsection. I hope tracking will help me realize what and why i'm eating.

2011 May

Starting over with some girlfriends and Lysa TerKeurst's book, "Made to Crave". As part of the study, we have committed to tracking food and making it public.

2010 November

I still love fabric. Together with the kids I have finished 2 smaller quilts this month and plan to have a larger one finished by the end of the week. Honestly, I'd rather work on a quilt project than work out.

However, I have exercised ZERO portion control since the summer and have denied myself NOTHING in the (formerly abolished) snacking department. Is anybody surprised that I have eaten away almost all of my losses from the spring? I shouldn't be, and yet I am surprised at how quickly it came back.

Time to change. For real. The scale and my back are in agreement that I must not continue down that road. Back to water and denial. Better now than another 5 pounds from now.

OLD INTRO January 2010

I love fabric. Almost as much as I used to love to nibble food throughout the day without thinking.

Using the food tracker has made a HUGE difference in that habit! Basically, I have cut out the food sneaking, am more conscious of portion size and DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!!!
