In Boston at 175lbs
Down to 147 ish depending on the day, and a size 4/6 feeling good! So close to my goal weight but f
I was an internationally competing Karate champ and now I am way over my fighting weight. I am a Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in Shukokai karate. I have been training and competing from the age 6 on, been AAU national champ, placed in world tournaments and even made the U.S womens national team at 15. I miss being able to compete and train, since the car accident my back hasn't been up to it.
I gained 55-60 while pregnant and would like to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.
I have back issues and every pound counts in helping pain relief and the less weight I have now, the less I'll need to lose later. My husband and I would also like to have another baby in this coming year and I would like to hit by goal weight before TTC.
Yoga, Kata, stretching, walking, elliptical when I can and eating lighter and leaner...or at least trying to.
Wii fit as well.
I live in FL, I am a Karateka, chef and graduated from the CIA in Hyde Park NY in 2002. I love to exchange recipes I also have a lot of dessert recipes that are low fat and healthy..just ask.

I see we have similar stories except I was never a worldclass karate athlete lol but I was a hard workout fanatic . How did you manage to loose weight through the pain? I have a pattern of working out for a week then paying for it in excruciating pain for a week. So I end up staying the same weight or gaining weight if i don't push myself to workout and paying for it in the end. Have you had this experience?
