A life worth living...

I'm the one who takes care of everyone else. It comes with the territory of being a mother and a nurse. I have always put other people ahead of myself. That stops today. I am just as important as anyone. I deserve to be loved and respected, especially by ME! Don't get me wrong. I will still be an awesome mother and a damn good nurse, but I will also take the time for myself. It's been far too long. My starting weight was 320 lbs. I have lost 25 lbs so far with many, many more to go. People ask me how I am losing the weight, what kind of diet I am on. I tell them I'm not on a diet. This is my life. I'm making lifestyle changes. I have a life worth living. The time is now.....

My Program:
I started out following the Weight Watchers program. I have progressed from counting points to counting calories. Logging my nutrition on my phone helps me to stay on track. My fitness routine thus far consists mainly of walking with a goal of 3 miles per day.
