Hey there, did you find any workout buddies yet? I had the same idea when I first started, but no one took me up on it, so I decided, with some trepidation, to try Zumba to get in some exercise with other folks. I do like the companionship and it is true that having workout buddies helps with accountability and just to deal with the tedium of exercise. But in the end, finding exercise you like or will at least tolerate, and making and keeping a commitment to exercising for your health is really important, so important that you can't leave it up to other people, IMHO. I've started using my elliptical again to mix it up a little, and have promised I won't watch The Killing on TV, I save it for TV replay while working on the elliptical. I have a link on my favorites bar to some stretches and after I do that, I'm ready to start my day. Hope you find a way to get on whether you find a workout bud or not. Remember, if it is to be, it is up to me!
