Hello and thank you for stopping by and visiting my Spark Page.

My name is Kecia and I am a Trinidadian living in geneva, Switzerland.

I am happily married to my Prince Charming; Dominique and we have been blessed with TWO Amazingly wonderful children... A girl called Anaïs and a boy called Nyko!

I was a slim girl and have a small frame and somewhere over the past 10 years, I just started to pad up... I'm now a slim, trim girl all covered with padding!!!!! How did that happen??? Well, Switzerland is the land of chocolate and cheese and boy, oh boy, did I overdo it!!! YUM!!

Today (1st March 2012), I am starting (again) on my journey to finding me (under all the padding). I have to eat healthier and move (a lot) more. With the help of my Bodybugg and with the SP community, I WILL DO THIS!!!

Bring it on!!!



I'd like to
- wear a bikini, shorts, mini skirt, size M tops
- feel pretty
- take a family picture
- walk without losing my breath
- play in the park with my wonderful kids
- look good in my jeans
- see my toes!
- Have nice lean arms (not big jiggly ones!)
- wear a "princess" dress...my daughter would be soooo happy!

The list could go on and on and on!!!!

My extra weight has me embarassed about being me. I feel ashamed to be soooooooooo big and "obsockie". I've doubled my size over the last 10 years and i hate it! But so far, I've not been able to diet or exercise for longer than a few days. I lack the will power and always say I'll start tomorrow... and of course, tomorrow turns into tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow!!!

I binge constantly, I eat late at night and every so often, I do try to track my meals, etc but come evening time and all my motivation and strength go out the window...

I've been joining up sparkpeople for the last 3 years and I felt so embarrassed to see that I'm unable to keep at it for more than a few days! I think here is an amazing site and I applaud each and everyone here for their determination, their honesty and their progress.

I hope to learn from you all and be guided and assisted by you to START my journey! I no longer want to feel this disgusted way about myself and with this page, I have embarked on a very tedious but extremely necessary campaign.

I want ME back!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to take this one day at a time...taking tiny steps. I have a tendancy to get anxious and shut down so I'm gonna try a different approach to counter my weakness..

- Count calories

-write in journal/blog daily

- drink 8 gl. water daily

- 30 mins fitness daily!

Thur: Biggest L: CORE + Strength training (15 min)

Sat: WALK (1 hour)

Personal Information:
My name is Kecia. I'm married (almost 13 years.... and counting) and have been blessed with two wonderful kids: my beautiful daughter Anais (7years) and my precious son Nyko (2 1/2 years old).

I'm from Trinidad and Tobago but I live (and have been living here since 2000) in Geneva, Switzerland! (land of Swiss Cheese and Swiss CHOCOLATE!!!! Poor me (or LUCKY LUCKY me????!!! :-) )

I run and manage my very own at-home daycare/playgroup and on any given day, can have up to 10 kids (from 6 months to 5 years old) running around and making my day fun!

It's a full time, all-day, all-week long job that i LOVE and feel honoured to have the opportunity to have tons of kids around me each and every day!

I LOVE reading!!! My favorite authors are Jill Mansell, Catherine Alliott, Marian Keyes and Ken Follett!
