Hi all I am trying to build a support network , to walk and talk with me through this journey to better health through better eating habits. i am an old dog but promise I can learn new tricks and habits. I am blessed with a large family , but not one that is supportive if my need for encouragement and challenge in this journey. I guess they are all into their own journeys and may say the same thing of me. Anyway I am here a cc to get my needs met and to give encouragement and challenge when needed by opthers in the group.
Some have said I have not given enough information about my goals. That is a hard one for me in terms of long term I get lost in the planning and end up not living the plan There for I will only have a monthly goal which I can stay focused on. The goal for may is to reduce my carbo intake by 50%. I will post on my methods and progress
I am 68 years old and live in south carolina This makes it easy for me to get exercise in the pool about 8 months out of the year. I have both knees replaced and a fused 45 lumbar , arthritis has chosen to take up residence in my jopints so water exercise is best for me. I use biking on my three wheeler for my winter exercise. I have two children 4 grand children, and one great grand daughter that bless my spirit daily. I also live with my partner of 18 years and her mother.
I am using cc to track my nutritional and exercise habits. I hope to improve my portion sizes and increased my physical abilities.

My goal for the month of may is to reduce my carbo intake by 50 % I EAT TOO MANY BREADS CHIPS AND DESERTS

I have begun to make a food plan for the day choosing more protien and fruits , veggies

Personal Information:
My name is Trish I am 68 years old and grateful for each day I have on this earth I live in south carolina with my life partner of 18 years , my son , her mother,two dogs and one cat. My daughter lives the sane town and I see her often. My grand children are spread out across the world one in New York ,one in Korea, one in Afganastand. The last two members of the USA army I love the warm weather , I swim and water jog almost every day.
