From a health point of view my health/fitness is just phenomenal.

I am enjoying eating healthily and exercising several times a week. My bloods have stayed stable throughout and are perfect for my age.

From a purely confidence point of view there is nothing better than being slim and fit

Hi. Have lost a lot of weight already and was struggling to get to goal. Joined Spark People and discovered that I wasn't eating enough.

Have added a lot of cardio exercise and my weight loss had come to a full halt.

Increasing my calorie intake to 1400 per day has worked and the loss has restarted.

Will cope with 1-2lbs a week loss - if there is 3lbs then that will be just fine too!

Welcome to Low Carb For Dummies!! We are really happy that you joined us. We are a very friendly group and have many successful and knowledgeable members. Our members are on all kinds of plans such as Atkins, South Beach, Protein Power, Low Glycemic. etc. What we share in common is a desire to eat high quality carbs and leave behind the processed sugary ones that cause medical problems and obesity.
