In Memory of Unstoppable Teresa who went to be with our Lord this past week, we celebrate her life this 20th day of September by sharing jokes on our blogs in her honor and by passing on some of her beautiful computer art work and encouraging words to those on our friend list. I pray as we remember Teresa today that we also realize the beautiful gift we have in finding good friends to walk this journey with here on Spark. Our friendship being in the cyber-world does not make it less significant than those closest to our faces. Have a blessed, memorable day that makes you one to remember when eternity calls you home.
✫ .HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012✫
We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room,
drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched.
Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through
the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential.
Who you were YESTERDAY,
Who you are TODAY,
Who you become TOMORROW;
They are all a part of a BEAUTIFUL Person!
NEVER FORGET HOW SPECIAL YOU ARE...
Hugs, Teresa – Darlene

“FOR I want you to know how great is my solicitude for you, how severe an inward struggle I am engaged in for you ... and for all who, like yourselves, have never seen my face and known me personally.” Colossians 2:1, AMP
Just want you to know that God has you in my heart as we face July with hope of victory. I am praying earnestly for us all that we well overcome and run to catch hold of the prise that faithfulness to the course will bring.
and so can I!

“Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is” (Ephesians 5:15-17, AMP).

I was reading 1 Corinthians 8 this morning in the Amplified version of scripture. Thinking of this Easter season when we recognize and celebrate the fact that God revealed the great depths of His love and desire for us by allowing His Son to give Himself as sacrifice for us, I realize from reading this passage in 1 Cor 8 that giving and receiving true love is our greatest gift back to Him in this season. In this Amplified passage, love for others is said to be revealed through our affection, goodwill and benevolence that edifies and builds up, encouraging those in our sphere of influence to grow to their full stature—becoming all God desires for them. Love for God is described as affectionate reverence, prompt obedience, and grateful recognition of His blessing, revealing ourselves to be in intimate relationship with Him, belonging to Him. I pray the love of God to abound to and through you in this season, to the glory of the God who loves us so much that He gave.
Happy Easter! Darlene
