    Welcome to the Firecracker Team. I am your motivational leader for this challenge, but more importantly, I am your friend! Let's accomplish losing weight and getting healthier over these next 8 weeks. They say it only takes 3 weeks for something to become a habit, so let's start by drinking lots of water and exercising everyday. Drinking water is easy for me as my medicine makes me thirsty, so I fill up my 24 ounce water bottle at least 3 times a day and carry it with me everywhere I go. As for exercise, it has finally become a habit. That was a bit harder to get into the habit of, but now if I don't exercise in the morning, I feel like I am missing something. So first thing in the morning, right after washing my face, I get on my elliptical machine and walk at least 30 minutes. I have bad arthritis, so I can't push myself too hard or I pay for it with pain, so just do what you can and remember to post it everyday. Have fun and enjoy yourself getting to know us all!
