Working on a new me

I'm 41, looking to lose weight in healthier ways, to be healthier in mind and body and spirit, and make better choices. My fiance is very active as is our growing daughter. And I hope to be able to keep up with them. I lost my dad to a massive heart attack in 2001, and I don't want my daughter to grow up without a parent as my little sister did.

My mom has been heavy her entire life. She eats healthier now and is working slowly to lose weight. I have seen her go through difficult times and struggle. My siblings and I have gotten heavier as we have aged. As we have hit our 30s and early 40s, some health issues have cropped up for some of us. We have all been told that if we take better care of ourselves that these issues will be controlled, and possibly disappear altogether. So, I'm here (AGAIN!) to get myself to a healthier me.

Current Status:
FALCON_MONICAB is still feeling the burn from lunges and squats. But it's all worth it in the end!

1. I walk a LOT! Even at work. 10 minutes here or there really adds up.

2. I'm trying to eat more fruits and veggies.

3. I find something positive about myself each day and say it to myself in the mirror.


Personal Information:
I live in Smithville, Texas. I'm 5'3" short. I have a daughter who is my world! I work inventory control at a grocery store.

Other Information:
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, writing, walking, dancing, movies, taking pictures, and enjoying life.
