Quirky, road warrior, passion for clinical social work and being a pastor, love for my Lord, Spouse, friends, & family!

40+ who has decided the next 40 are going to be the best days. I have 100+ lbs to loose to match the outside with the person I am on the inside. I know with God and support of those along the way ALL things are possible.

Fitness Minutes: 306

My Goals:
Loose 100 lbs.
Ride rides at amusement parks.
Not have to buy any 'plus' size clothes.
Be able to climb trails, swim, run/walk, dance.
Stop the emotional eating.

My Program:
Remind myself even the snail made it to the ARK. Get moving more days than not. Choose better/healthy more often than not. Give myself grace along the way.

Personal Information:
I am a child of God who knows He is my friend and savior. I am an ordained minister and pastor of an open and affirming ministry. I'm also part of my denominations Office of Church Grown and Development team. My dual career is working as a clinical social worker and parent educator working with infants/toddlers. I'm blessed.

Other Information:
I'm crazy about Pinterest. I enjoy camping, fishing, road trips to fun and new places, quality time with my furkid and spouse. She is my life partner and brings such light to my life. I would love to learn how to quilt and knit.

I have some health challenges that have given me an opportunity to gain empathy for anyone who struggles with pain, anxiety, depression, infertility, and metabolic/endocrine disorders. Yet even in the darkest days I know all things are for God's glory and I can't say enough how much going through has provided me an edge to be used to bring education, healing, and ministry to others.

I'm back. Needed to get back on track. Was thinking of gastric bypass but after weeks of awesome therapy with an addictions specialist I'm reconsidering. No diet and down 2 sizes. Mindful Eating and Clean Eating as well as lots of recovery.

I'm back after a rough time away. Was in a car wreck several months ago and may have spinal surgery. I'm not going to give up...even if I can't exercise like I would like I can eat well, sleep well, and take care of my recovery. First step is getting back in community of support. Much love all!

Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with blessings!

Thanksgiving – All In A Word

    Author: Unknown

T for time to be together
    Turkey, talk and tangy weather.
    H for harvest stored away
    Home, and hearth and holiday.
    A for autumn’s frosty art,
    And abundance in the heart.
    N for neighbors and November,
Nice things, new things to remember.
    K for kitchen, kettle’s croon.
    Kith and kin expected soon.
S for sizzles, sights and sounds,
    And something special that abounds.
That spells THANKS – for joy in living
    And a jolly good Thanksgiving!
