Hey Linda, Thanks forreplying to my question. I'm really new here-I just joined this past Tuesday. I'm excited about the food tracker-it is really helping me see what I am eating right and wrong.
Anyway-I congratulate you on your running...I have never been a runner-never really had the wind for it. (I am doing beginner exercises right now 3 days a week-and hope to increase my activity as I get in better shape and build more stamina.)
I have never been to NZ or Australia. I used to be a missionary in Mexico and there were alot of people there working as missionaries that were from NZ. (I have always wanted to visit there-well maybe someday.)

Wow... as ever my Lord's timing is perfect. Just as I was thinking to hell with this diet business & got stuck into a bag of lollies, he leads you to making contact with me.
Thank you so much for listening & thank you the encouragement. I needed it. I have no idea why I suddenly felt so low about the diet but it happens. I guess it is the heat getting to me. Oh well back to the drawing board.
I just read your spark page and I am doing the same thing.
I am 43, a mother of three grown children and am also a runner. Since my Seattle marathon in 2002, I had taken some time off (at first it was due to sore knees from the race....and then just plain out-of-it). However, last year at this time I was 25 pounds over weight and have lost 10 of those. I still have 15 to go. My birthday is April 16th and my goal is to shed those las pounds by then!
