Be Positive and Keep Moving...........

i need to lose weight to feel good and be healthy. i have to lose 25lbs and am serious about it now that i've turned 60! i live by a river and should be spending alot of time outside now that ct has brightened up. so let's start eating less, eating right, and moving our butts.............

My Goals:
my main goal is to lose 25 lbs in 2012. i'd like to lose as much as possible to feel comfortable in whatever i wear.

My Program:
i an tracking my food, going back to the gym, and getting together with 3 friends once a week to weigh in and eat healthy (our own biggest loser club).

Personal Information:
i'm a 60 yr old mother of 3 grown boys. we've downsized our lives and are now trying to downsize our bodies and energize our lives!

Other Information:
i'm hoping my interests will keep me busy and take my mind off food. i am an avid reader who enjoys scrapbooking, quilting, sewing, crocheting.

Hi - Thank you for responding to my blog. I'll tell you that I do eat but I exercise like all get out to make up for the food I consume. If I have a bad night, I do 60 min. on the elliptical (that is my punishment, however, I flip thru TV stations to make it less painful). I try to eat a good breakfast and lunch, and dinner but sometimes snack badly. I reached my goal weight 5/24 and 10/1 I was right on but I know I lost a couple from the flu so I want to persevere as I will be 55 next month, and that is bad enough!
