This year is round 2 *ding ding ding* and I plan on a knockout year!

I lost 58 pounds between the latter half of 2009 and the first half of 2010.

After losing my way and gaining back an initial 10 lbs, followed by another 10 lbs (in the fall of 2010) I finally reached my breaking point and said enough was enough. Life can get hectic, stressful and downright hard at times. Facing some of my fears and healing emotionally from some pretty severe things from my childhood has been my focus for the last several months.

Facing some of my fears and healing emotionally from some pretty severe things from my childhood has been my focus for the last several months.

One thing that I was forgetting was how hard I worked and how proud I was of myself for losing almost 60 pounds. I was surprised how easy it was to take a break and then slowly slip back into old habits. I wont allow my life to end up right back where I was in the summer of 2009.

This time around I have my past experience to guide me and more skills and information that I learned a while ago. So it's not like starting from scratch. It's more like getting back on the exercise bike I got off of.

PS. I am resetting my weightloss ticker to correspond with my new start and new goal for November. I will be sad to see the progress gone, but motivated to move that little ticker! :)

My Goals:
To track my food intake and exercise on SparkPeople.

Exercise 5-6 days a week and to lose my body fat (30-60 mins a day).

To stay focused and positive!

My Program:
Treadmill: One or two 30 minute sessions per day (uphill walk, steady jog or interval training): 5-6 days/wk

Exercise Bike: 3x/wk as needed, not my fav thing to do, but it's ok if I put a movie on to watch. :)

Curves Circuit Training: 3-4x/wk as schedule will allow

Personal Information:
I live just outside of Vancouver, BC. I have three children (19 yrs, 9 yrs, 6 yrs). I have a crazy (but sweet) cat named Piper and I'm going on a cruise in September (thanks to my eldest!)

Other Information:
I have lost a total of 30.5 inches off my body so far!

Happy Halloween...I'm back. Been off the site. Broke foot twice. Sprained it again labour day...finally feeling normal again. Kid's football is over tomorrow, so hopefully the train is no longer derailed. Drop a line. love to hear how you're doing. emoticon

We had a great time. Skied at the very top of both Whistler and Blackcomb.... my legs are SCREAMING today.. Sibby says its cause I was skiing harder and faster and using them better as we mostly skied blue runs, but I'm worried that its cause I'm not in as good shape as I was a year ago. I prefer Sib's explanation. He brought me on a black run by mistake.. could have killed him but just skied across the run until I was able to find a part that I could manage to ski down. scared but did it. hope your week has been going well. love you.. smooches

You called me Chicky-Poo!! :-)

Hope you are doing well. Things are moving along here. I'm still working on my Couch 2 5K program and have run up to 20 minutes at a time.

Reading Tosca Reno's Eat Clean Recharged to try to make some shifts in my diet and hopefully too that of my family.

I made sticky goals at the beginning of the year for different areas of my life and am focused on being more positive in general. Getting alot of support from the Smokin' Hot Mama Club (can be found online or on Facebook).

That's about all that's up with me. What about you, Carina?
