It may seem difficult to lose a huge amount of weight (I'm aiming initially for 64 pounds) but what I have found working for me, and perhaps you, too, is to work on losing one measly pound, no matter how long it takes. When that happens, I feel proud then take aim at the next one pound. Repeated, small successes reinforces motivation and builds confidence. I'm down 41.4 pounds from my highest weight of 290.4.
