It Has to Change in my Head FIRST!

I'm Pam. I've NEVER had an Aha! moment since joining Sparkpeople. I've never had that photo, comment, health scare, etc. where a person says, "This is it! I'm losing this weight!" All I've had is watching that scale get closer and closer to 300 pounds (and then over) and thinking, "I should do something about this, but I don't seem to care." *munch* *chomp* Two more pounds gained.

I need to lose at least 100 pounds, and I want to be healthier. I'm through with "dieting". I will ...

I need to lose at least 100 pounds, and I want to be healthier. I'm through with "dieting". I will never again go through the months of control, the losing over 50 pounds, the elation and pride, and then having the control bleed between my fingers while all the weight comes back on, with the resulting self-loathing. Never again. If it's going to change, it has to change in my head first.

Hiya Pam!

Yep, I am the same person that was formerly known as ANJFTW! So, I suppose I found you through that and through the Everything Japanese group the first time around. Haha :)

Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it. Now they tell me it's unlikely I'll have to endure radiation, but I won't know officially until after I've had my surgery. I'm going with a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction; and that will likely be happening later this month. I'll hopefully find out a surgery date come this Thursday when I see my surgeon.

As for new-ish anime... hmm... I haven't been watching any super recently, but I can recommend some I watched earlier in the year that might be new to you? Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi (cute yaoi series), Gosick (awesome mystery series set in Europe), Yuru Yuri (a funny yuri-ish series), Hanasaku Iroha (drama but really well done) and Mashiroiro Symphony (starts out as a silly harem series). I'll be sure to be on the look out for something else new that's worth watching as well! emoticon

Anyway, how are you? How have you been??

It's good to be back here, just hope I can really commit to it, haha!

I noticed on a message board you said that you are interested in yaoi. If you get a chance check out my new group "Yaoi Lovers Unite" @ http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/groups_
