My goals: get old. Healthy and fit

I turn 40 in 2013 - nearly half way through.
I lost 20 Kilos since I started spark - but some twice. So its a net weight lost of 14 kilos.

But I realized - much more important than losing weight is to be happy with myself and healthy.
And thats my new goal.
Running, eating GOOD stuff. Having a well balanced lifestyle.

It took me nearly 18 months to adapt being back in Germany.
A rough time where I've came last in line.

But now it seems getting better :)


I'm 39 years old, married and mum of a wonderful 8 year old girl. I ve never had problems with my weight until a thyroid problem started in my 20th. I gained 60 lb - and I wanna lose at minimum half of it :)

Personal Information:
started SP in 2009 and lost with a lot of sport and 1400 cal (recommendation dietitian) 10 kilo.
moved back to Germany, had a lot of stress and gained 6 back.

Started again in March 2012 with a dietary change. Cut out all the food I'm allergic against, including diary products.

eat vegan/vegetarian 3 days a week, fish and meat on the others.

Other Information:
love to write, love to take pictures, love to paint, sew and create stuff.

I'm a organized person with two unorganized family members ;)

I love to do new things, explore.

Id like to invite you to join in my challenge to lose 10 pound in July. i know some of us might be saying 10 pounds? that is too much! cant do it! But i here to tell u i did it for 7 months straight, b4 i got sick with cancer and had dropped out for a yr and a half. if u stay within ur calories that are alotted and if u track everything that passes ur lips u can do it too. I was never one that stayed on a diet more than 3 weeks at a time, and then I'd get discouraged and dropped off. i lost 75 pounds just doing calorie counting and tracking to make sure i never went over. i barely exercised ...i am handicapped and i cant do exercises in the conventional way but i flapped my arms while sitting and leg raises. very minimal stuff. the idea was to keep moving and i did that. so i know with disipline, encouragement and motivation u can too.. so i invite u to come and join me on my 10 pound challenge! emoticon emoticon

YAY I went today to buy new sport pants! I wonder how long these will last before I need new ones :) I literally have no clothes that fit anymore! I have some dresses and such I would alter but my machine is STILL in the shop and they still haven't looked at it I went by today she said if her husband hasn't called then it's not done and he'll call me when it is :/ Oh well I think I just need a new machine that one was only 100 euro

Getting 3 weeks of exercise is better than none :) I think it's plenty of time to get some results. I have 35 days until Berlin. I have 18 days of the shred left and then I will start a new program :) I would like to lose every inch possible by the time I go to Berlin :) You'll break through the plateau I'm sure!!

Yea I CAN BE organized but usually it all gets stuffed into a pile. I would have been annoyed too if I had to search for something for hour if I had plans. You deserve a nice dinner AND a foot/back rub!

It's so true I didn't realize what was happening I spiraled into a crying junk eating mess so fast I didn't even notice it. I'm so happy to be in Germany and be able to spend time with my family have time to go running and cook healthy food. The weight is coming off and I will be healthy again :)
