I think I am a lot like you...I can lose weight and I can keep it off a while but it because too exhausting (as you put it) to think about it 24/7. I wish you all the best with the new outlook on life!! emoticon

Could you share what you & your nutritionist come up with to make weight loss sustainable? As you say, less forced & more natural? I think I'm in the same boat as you. I know what to do, but to incorporate it in such a way that is less forced & more natural.

I loved your recent blog quote and your comments. I actually wrote something similiar a couple days ago. I am not worried about losing the weight. I can do that. I've done that.....too many times. But this time I want to learn to accept food in my life as food, not a coping mechanism. It should not be apunishment or reward. It is food. I am learning new ways to cook, new ways to eat and new foods. I have been vegetarian off and on for a couple years; now, I want to work toward organic vegan. But slowly, with knowledge and love and permanence. Thank you for your words and good luck! I am having fun and hope you are also.
