Hey! I felt I did pretty well. I finished 40:06. My mile splits were close/a little faster than my personal record 3 mile run on my own, so I was happy about that. I had seen some information about that running grand prix or whatever they call it. Do you know what you get for doing 4 races?? I was thinking about doing it, but wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money on that many races. I'm already signed up for a 5k in harford county the very end of july. I am doing a 10k in Indiana in Sept and a half marathon for the Balt. Running Festival Oct 13th. I didn't know if I wanted to sign up for 3 more races this year, but I haven't decided yet. 1738 days ago
I saw that you've done the Baltimore Women's Classic 5k. Are you doing it again this year? How was it?? I'm signed up for a 5k in Harford County the end of July, but decided on a whim that I'm going to do the Women's Classic on Sunday. It'll be my first race! 1745 days ago
Hey there - actually I live in the Dulles/Herndon area. You?
Yeah I have already completed 2 obstacle races I have another one coming up in July in Leesburg and then the Tough Mudder in Sept. along with another Warrior Dash in Sept. another half marathon in November (Disney Wine and Dine). I am fairly certain I have at least one race every month this year - at least one....
Crazy....yeah that pretty much sums it up for me. As you can read from my blog, not much phases me.. LOL!!
I can assure you, courage is the least of what you need for any of these obstacle races...a good sense of humor and a willingness to get muddy and laugh for full head off is all about what you need!
