My main problem is lack of discipline, following through with workouts and eating plans. I start out with the best intentions, but as soon as I have a "bad day or week" I quit. So the journey restarts with an emphasis of discipline and motivation.

Have fun with school! I'm in a three year, part time program and loved every minute of the first year and a half...now I'm loving the fact that the end is in sight. :)

Thank you so much for posting on my blog yesterday! I'm still struggling with the mental part of a healthy lifestyle and it really really helps to know that other people are out there going through this too. When I have a rough day, I know that other people are out there being strong and it helps lift me up. Sounds weird, but true. THANK YOU

PS: If our team serves no other purpose than to give you and me an outlet to communicate back and forth, I'm super happy that I've got a great teammate like you!!!

If you are interested in getting back to rowing, masters rowing is VERY different from collegiate. My team meets at 6:30pm Tues/Thurs and Sunday at 9:30a. If you suggested 4am to any of my team mates you'd risk laughter and bitch slapping out of reflex. :)
