Hi! This is Nidhi from Kolkata, India.

I have been on SP for a while now. I had a great start, tracked calories, was going to a gym and was losing about 300-400 gm each day (I still cant believe it!). But then due to some reasons I couldn't continue going to the gym and got stuck at a weight of 77 Kgs.

I have bounced back (Nov'10), gathered motivation and am back to tracking calories and doing Zumba! I love the music and the dance...hope to find some great videos ...

My Initial Intro....

I currently weigh 81 kgs and desperately need to lose some weight. I have always been a little overweight but this time I have even crossed the weight which I had at the peak of my pregnancy 3 yrs back.

This is June 2013 and I am back at Sparkpeople to get motivated to lose weight and track my progress. I had my second child, my son, in July 2012. My peak weight in pregnancy was 91 Kgs (can you believe it). I was beating all the other preggies around me in the max weight they gained till their 9th month, boy was it embarrassing!!

Anyway, my post pregnancy weight was 88 Kgs and that's what I started with at the gym in November 2012. I have slogged for about 7 months now and have managed to lose about 7 Kgs.

I hope to stay motivated to achieve my per-pregnancy weight of 77 Kgs and then take it forward to a healthy, maintainable weight :)

My Goals:
I have achieved my 1st target of losing 10 kgs (13th Sep 2013), now I want to lose 10 Kgs more to go back to the weight I had before conceiving my daughter :) Lets see when I achieve it...

My Program:
I have been going to a gym since Nov 2012, 3 months after I delivered my 2nd kid... I now do about 1.15 hours of weight training and 1 hour of cardio on alternate days for 5 days a week... for cardio I also love to do Zumba workouts.

I always though eating normally and working out would help me lose weight in some way. But I have discovered to my dismay that I have only piled on more kilos. I have hence cut down on the calories I consume for lunch. I have decided to eat only curd with vegetables and sprouts or a bowl of milk with corn flakes and fruits for lunch. Since my dinner usually consists of 2 veg dishes and 2 rotis, I want to continue eating my dinner normally.

Hi..sorry it took me so long to visit you :-) Thanks for the photo comment. I am loosing inches faster than weight. I haven't measure for the 2 months since I started but will by the end of the month. I do more strenth training with moderate amts of cardio.

How are you doing?

Well sorry love...i'm really low on motivation..haven't been motivated for the past 2 months...I have been gaining all of my weight and now feel more horrible..Anyways I'm from Dum dum in kolkata..more like 5 mins from the airport...I know where's Phoolbagan... emoticon
