Hey Girl, I am getting back in shape too. I can't wait for my treadmill to get here! I have done a little running a few weeks ago at the gym but only for like 15 mins. Nothing Serious! I am going to do a couple 5k's this summer! Not sure if I am ready for a 10k like you! GO YOU! haha. Once I get back on track I will see if I think I can be up to it and do it with you! 2400 days ago
I am sticking around that 140 too, I go down then go back up but its always within a few pounds of 140, ugh. This week I dropped my calories to under 1200 to see if that will help.. before I had been between the 1200 and 1550 like sparks says to, but its not working. when I lost weight before I know I had been eating like 900 calories a day, not healthy... I know, but it worked... (like you said...and it works fast!) and once I got down 124 I was able to eat around 1200 and maintain at 127 which I was happy with...so as unhealthy as it may seem I feel like its the only way!
I had just been reading a book and it said that you can calculate the least amount of calories your body needs to be healthy by multiplying your weight by 8...then thats the absolute rock bottom you should consume. So I have been staying within a few calories of that... so I am 140 X 8= 1120... So I am going to try to do it this way, when your weight drops the calories do too but I figure at that point I will be used to eating less and its a gradual change so hopefully my body can get used to it! Ugh! I feel like I have to go to extremes now that my wedding day is fast approaching, I am running out of time. I will be relieved of so much stress once I get down to my goal weight, that will be one less thing I have to worry about, like yeah I will have to maintain but at least I will be there!
We can do it!!! Keep up the good work with exercising! Walking and running 3 miles in the same day! Thats AWESOME!
