A too thin me---130 lbs-October 23, 2004
February 25th,2006, Taylor's 3rd B-day . I was about 180lbs.
10-15-06 @ 165 lbs. with my 2 older brothers, Tony and Scotty.
Hello everyone! First things first......I love the Lord Jesus with all my heart, mind, body, and soul!!! Therefore.....I do not want to disgrace His temple and alter my health for the sake of good tasting food !!! I am one of those who still believe his every word.....and gluttony is a sin!!!
I realize I am barely over the scale, but I am techincally considered overweight. So....I am just looking to lose enough weigh to be in the healthy range again. I want to exercise more and in turn, have increased energy. But....one thing I've decided to lean on is....IT'S NOT ABOUT ME!!! It's not about trying to look sexy or look like a supermodel...It's for my witness and for my family's benefit that I stay healthy and active. When your body is healthy, so is your mind, when your mind is healthy, your spiritual life will be stronger!!! Enough said!!!
My goals are to become accustomed to a whole new healthy lifestyle and get down to and maintain a weight of around 150 lbs. At 5 ft. 10in, that is a reasonable weight for me.
I lost 15 pounds the first 2 months and I plan to lose the last 15-20 pounds by July 1st!!
Lots of water
Eating less and eating right
Tae Bo 5 x a week and strength exercises 3 x a week.
I am from Goodlettsville, TN. I am a wife and mother of 2 great children. My daughter, Taylor is 4yrs. and my son, Elias is 1 yr.old.
Our second home is Goodlettsville Pentecostal Church!!
Right now, I'm reading the book, The Maker's Diet, by Jordan Rubin. It is everything I've always thought myself, like this quote: "Unfortunatetly, the Creator didn't design our bodies to operate at optimum levels on junk food, fast food, or prepackaged foods prepared in microwave ovens. His laws that govern our entire human nature, including our health, bring consequences when violated, whether or not we accept the fact that they are still in place. Our Creator specifically designed us to function best on the Maker's diet."

Hi Eva! Just wanted to say I've been thinking about you lately and wondering how you're doing. I miss hearing from you! I hadn't been reading posts or keeping up on things the last few weeks, but I just got caught up some. Anyway, I noticed you hadn't posted in quite a while, and wondered why. Busy with your family? Or just not as involved anymore? Catherine hasn't been, either. I haven't seen her as much lately, but am going to see if she wants to start walking again. ANYHOO... I pray all is well. Hey, Thanks for the comment on my page also! I think there are alot of women that are chocohalics, but I never knew anyone that ate chocolate for breakfast like me! I'll have to let my husband know I wasnt alone haha. Congrats on losing 15lbs in two months, even though you gained a little back its always encouraging to see you're still not where you started. I have gained back a few pounds some weeks, including this week, but I just get back on track and they come off again. I think being in shape before having a baby is one of the best things you can do for your baby as well as you. I agree with what you say about having the good habits to go right back into. I also think its ok to exercise a little while pregnant and of course eating healthy. And now that I know your stomach shrinks back faster I'll really try. Thanks for the info on breast feeding, I will definatly do that. As far as the "planning to get pregnant soon?" Well that all depends on how fast I reach my goal, I'd like to be 130 before I do. I will finally reach my goal and then I'll back here trying to lose 30lbs haha! Keep up the good work!
