Water: I stay at home all day, drink it!
Food: Stay as organic as I can, but make sure small portions and less carbs. I am doing WW App and I love it.

Exercise: Feel how your body is talking to you, do not push so hard you get injured.

Spark: Stay in the spark community be more active.

Weightloss is a Journey. A choice. Each person makes choices and decisions differently. Each person looses weight differently. Find something that works for you and make it work. Here is my journey, my story, my hopes and dreams.

My Story:
When I first started dating my now husband, I was heavier then I am now. Around 180 or so. I really had not been on a scale in a very long time, but knew and could tell from my mothers comments I was continuing to get bigger and bigger.

We moved from Minnesota to Washington state in the summer of 2002. It was a great road trip move with many many photos opportunities. Still oblivious to how "large" I was, I felt happy.

After getting the film developed it finally hit me how big I was. Prior to our move, Steve was living in Washington, trying to find us a house. I stayed behind in Minnesota. Him moving was the starting point to the days of Erin getting bigger and bigger and bigger. How funny that I remember being at work and a co-worker asking me when I was "due" yes, he said that to me and it still did not really hit home.

Once the photos from our move to Washington got devleloped I was in for the SHOCK of my life. I had gotten up to at least 220 at this point and I was so out of shape it was embarassing. I could not rollerblade or even play basketball, two sports I used to love doing.

My Sister In Law introduced me to Weight Watchers. With this I was able to LEARN how to eat better foods for me and less of them. I never really knew how much food I was putting into my body until the first few days when I was STARVING and had alreay maxed out in my points... I could not come up with a workout plan, but I did have a job at Sears in the Athletic Department so I was learning about the machines and what could help me change my body!

Everyone likes to save money and they are always in such a hurry to get food in and move on to the next project. You get sucked into the Fast Food Jungle and making good choices is not always the easiest or the cheapest .... I love the quote from Bernie of Biggest Loser "Why not supersize, add the shake, I may not be able to finish it, but it is only a dollar more!"

From that June to November I had lost about 15 pounds and was feeling better about myself. Since I was working at Sears I stared testing more of the machines on slow days, sometimes it would bring in business.

In December 2002 my boyfriend proposed to me and the GAME was on. We were getting married the following June and I still had a long way to go. I worked hard and continued to watch what I ate. We finally bought that Treadmill and I started a walking routine.

June came along and I was down another 15 pounds. I was starting to feel more like the old me. Fun, active and crazy! I still had a long way to go to get where I needed to be. I was not going to give up.

I got down to 160 in 2010 and then found out I was pregnant.

Since the adoption of our son, and birth of our daughter in 2011 I have gone a bit backwards. My only excuse is not good time management.

I am making a plan to quiet myself from Facebook and silly distractions and have more me and family time. I want to getup in a.m. and workout and then have my days free after work to spend with the wee ones.

Workout = P90X, Runs, walks with kids

I vow to log my points, get in running/walking/P90X each day, and make sure I stay hydrated.

I would like to finish a half by 2:15






My Program:
Monday - Friday:
P90X AM Workouts
Following my running plan: 2 - 6 Miles each day.

Tuesday:
Volleyball (3 games at 55 Minutes

Saturday:
Long Runs Outside

Sunday:
Reflect on week, and extra burns.

Logging Everything: It has taken me some time to really stick with it, but I know it is truly important.
