I've struggled with weight for years now. I lost over 50 pounds and have been having a hard time breaking old habits to maintain that loss. Some days I wonder if it will every get easier! :-)

Sparkpeople has provided the tools, the people have provided the inspiration, and I'm on my way!

My Goals:
To be healthy by finally overcoming my weight gaining habits. You know...the simple things...like drinking water and eating better.

So motivated and excited to be on this track!

My Program:
I do 3-5 days a week of interval training on the treadmill. It's my favourite 20 minutes of the day!

Then it's wii fit all the way baby! Wow! The strength exercises are crazy! Worth every penny!

Personal Information:
I am 33 years old and have been married for 11 years now. No children.


Other Information:
I LOVE to cook...no, make that bake! That can be a huge issue for someone with a weight problem, but also allows me to experiment with healthy options.

This site has been phenomenal. I make so many of the recipes and enjoy all the people. You are all an inspiration!

Congratulations on your workouts during the Wii Fit Challenge Winter Olympics! I loved your comment about the challenge forcing you to do things you had pretended didn't exist on Wii Fit. I know exactly what you mean. That's one of the reasons I try to keep a variety of activities in these challenges because I think we all do that...pick our favorites and ignore the rest unless pushed.

Howdy! I know you were going to try to get in some boxing for our Rocky Rules challenge last week before you went away for training. I hope you were able to do that...or got in some other type workouts if you weren't able to do Wii Fit stuff. Have a good week!
