I've lost 43.5 pounds. That brings me halfway to my goal.
I could have never made it this far without Sparkpeople and all my friends I have found here!
Y'all inspire me to no ends.

For years I have wanted to get my high school diploma, I finished the ninth grade before I had to quit. I didn't want to take my GED, I wanted the knowledge of the courses etc... I wanted a diploma.
I've spent years researching correspondence courses etc... and always, ALWAYS talked myself out of it.
Last year I made a goal of doing it, but I talked myself out of it because of money.
This year I hadn't even given it a off thought until today. I was sorting through some old bills and came across my info I'd sent off for last year...
Soooo I did it. I called and enrolled in a correspondence high school diploma college prep course.
To pay for it I vowed to myself... I will quit smoking and start educating myself. A good trade off I think.
I called my husband at work and told him and he said he would quit too.
So I'm a high school student! At 37!

September GOALS:
1 Continue to schedule housework, school work, home school for the boy, and exercise so I can find time to do it all.

2 Exercise every chance I get

3 keep coming to SP. IT has helped me so much.

4. Don't let people get me down.

5. Lose at least 6 pounds.

Haven't heard from you in a while. Hope things are well. I know you are busy with school and we tend to immerse ourselves in one thing at a time and school is a good thing to be concentrating on.......just don't forget about yourself !!!
