Hi, Jenny! I saw you're a newer member of Working Our With Asthma. I saw a pilates breathing exercise that really helped me where you put your shoulder blades closer together and you can really get air in! Hope to get to know you better.

Welcome to SP and the Breast Cancer team. It's nice to have you join us. Lots of encouragement and support here. Be sure and use your Spark Points page to help you use and learn all the great features of this site and it's tools. Sign up for Spark America and when it takes you in to do your exercises, just remove and you can't do or don't want and put in those you do. Make sure you schedule in a Cardio day so you can have access to the "Other exercises" page where it's walking, housework, playing with hte kids etc. It all counts. Then go in and set up your appointment calendar to send you reminders. When it comes, use it to go in and click on fitness. Then just check them off as you go or when your done. Such a nice feature! Stop by our pages for a get to know you visit and again, welcome to SP & the team.

I just read your journal entries. Congrats on walking to FG! That's no small feat...especially the route you take.

I've heard that wearing a pedometer on your foot or ankle doesn't accurately read your steps or miles. I found on SparkPeople you'll get the best read if it is on your waist, in line with your knee.
