Hi Erin, I was reading one of the posts & I saw yours. I clicked on your page to check it out. Just wanted to say hi. Good luck on your last few pounds. I'm starting all over again. I was doing so well, and then, bam, lost it. I need to get back on track. Hopefully, by joing the WW team, it'll help. Where do you live? 2586 days ago
I am stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB in NC. I am a psychologist here. My husband is in the Marine Corps and for the past 2 years we have been stationed 15 hours apart. I finally got a joint spouse assignment in Sept so we at least got to spent the weekends for 2 months together, so I am thankful for that. No, it definitely never gets easier. He made it home exactly 1 week before Aiden was born and is gone again. We are going to try for #2 as soon as he gets home. I totally understand not wanting to see what that does to the body. Pregnancy, while a beautiful thing, totally messes with your head. I was the smallest since high school prior to pregnancy. A size 6 - but I am 5'11'' so that was 165 lbs for me. I had a lot of super lean muscle. Now I am a size 10 in most things but feel all squishy still from the baby (except the arms - lugging Aiden around has taken care of that!). Yes, I have a good support network - all out of state right now as I am just been inprocessing and preparing for Jed's deployment the past 2 months. I am sure I will soon have a support system here as well. Although I am coming to a very small medical group compared to Keesler (last station).
Hi Erica, I was reading your post on Parents of Infants page. I too am at the last lb in the normal BMI stage! I have an 8 month old and am trying to drop the baby weight and get back in shape. I was very fit prior to pregnancy but have been so busy with work and parenting that I havent taken the time for myself like I need. I wish you great luck on your weight loss. I am trying to lose about 11 lbs. If you need support, just let me know! 2609 days ago
