Acceptance is the key to change...

Welcome to 2013....another year is gone and I am still the same. Ever year I get back to Spark, but the result is the same. I am not going to set outlandish goals for myself this year. I am going to start the year off by beginning to accept that I have an eating problem and I want to explore the reason. It's like AA, I will take it one day at a time and begin by writing about my day and explore why I am the way I am. That is the only way to truly start this journey. So here is today!

My Goals:
My goal is to loose 100 pounds!! It's very ambitious but needs to be done. I am very unhealthy. I need to be an example for my girls and show them that hard work pays off in the end!!!

My Program:
Eating fresh and healthy food is key. I try and get protein and lots of fiber into every meal. It's important for the filling fiber and the energizing protein.
I need to drink more water. I've given up soda and I need to actually drink the water.

Personal Information:
I live in Sunny San Diego California. I LOVE it here. I was born and raised here. I love the beach and walking in Old Town or in Coronado.

emoticon I think your advice has been the most relevant so far. I did myself a disservice by not reminding people in my blog that for right now, I'm using my fitness minutes to measure my success this month- not the scale, not the measuring tape, not even how my clothes fit. I'm aiming for 1000 fitness minutes this month. Just to show I'm being consistent and laying my foundation for the next six months.

I do have a wall calendar AND I have a weekly planner. I think you're correct in that I should just keep track of my minutes there!

I too miss the challenge and all of the daily support. I seem to struggle more with out regular accountability. How are the push ups going? Thanks for touching base with me.
