My Goals:
My BIG goal is to be at an ideal weight for my height, age, gender, and bone structure - about 130 pounds.

I know that aiming for this all at once will leave me disappointed, so I'm breaking it up into 5 pound goals per month.

My Program:
Nutrition: I am focusing on trying to eat more natural foods, (you know, foods that can actually go bad rather than be indestructible.) I'm tracking my food on SparkPeople and trying to limit it to 1800 calories or less a day.

Fitness: Zumba and weights!

Personal Information:
I am from North Carolina, but I just recently moved to Southern New Mexico with Teach for America. This year, I am teaching high school Spanish.

Other Information:
I love watching good TV shows (drama not reality). I am starting to enjoy cooking more and more, and I enjoy shopping and seeing movies.

Well I try to get in jogs and walks every night but it is definitely not my main source of exercise. Running is not fun to me, when its done I feel accomplished but every step is like a battle I have to wage against myself. lol. I like to go to the gym and use the arc trainer doing 1 minute intervals between high intensity and low intensity. Other than that Ive been having fun going to my library every other week and checking out what fitness videos they have. Big fan of hip hop abs, not overly difficult but still work up a sweat. Zumba has also been a fitness savior for me. I like to have fun as I workout otherwise I dread it!

Just wanted to stop by and say hello. My name is Lianne and Im also on the navy nebulas. I love doing challenges and BLC, they have helped me lose plenty of weight, so any motivation or encouragement I can give please let me know. I saw how great you were doing with the c25k, running 5 minutes straight is an amazing accomplishment! Keep up the great work, I look forward to getting to know you!
