Not getting any younger! But maybe healthier :)

Back again after yoyo'ing back up once again. I'm sick and tired of that. It is seriously the story of my life.

My mom just recently had a 2nd stent put in her heart and I really don't want to have that happen to me if I can do anything about it. I purchased a Fitbit Charge HR and track my calories on SparkPeople (the Fitbit app and SparkPeople sync). The Fitbit has been very motivational to get me moving. I have a very sedentary job, and if I did nothing but what my job required ...

I purchased a Fitbit Charge HR and track my calories on SparkPeople (the Fitbit app and SparkPeople sync). The Fitbit has been very motivational to get me moving. I have a very sedentary job, and if I did nothing but what my job required of me I would be getting only 4000 steps a day (10000 is a recommended amount to decrease heart disease risk). So now I am climbing office stairs and at the very least marching/jogging in place while I watch Netflix at home until I reach at least 10000 steps. Every day.

Really sick of yoyo'ing and I wish I could be excited when friends pull out their cameras. Instead I dread it. Because none of them seem to know that fat girls photograph better from above ;) haha just kidding... sort of. But I do really wish to feel comfortable in my own skin again.
