Losing it for good

I am determined to finally be rid of the stomach roll and big thighs. Being Hispanic I am constantly confronted with greasy, high carb, high caloric foods. I am trying to not only change my eating habits, but my family's as well.

My Goals:
My goal weight is 138. I would like to reach that by New Year's Eve 2010. I just want to be healthier since heart disease, cancer, and diabetes run in my family on both sides.

My Program:
I workout four to six times a week doing cardio each of those days and then weight/strength training two to three times a week. I take classes at the gym, run outside, and use cardio machines at the gym to try and change my routine work so I won't get bored. As for eating habits, this is perhaps the biggest challenge for me. I am trying to keep my caloric intake in between 1200-1500 calories a day.
