Hi! I've been away from the Spark for a while, but back to lose my baby weight (again!) I have two amazing kiddos, aged 2 and 4 months! I vowed when I was pregnant with my son not to gain the same 40lbs I gained with my daughter... whoops! There is just too much delicious food to be had here in Chicago and I was powerless to its charms!!

Now I have cut all of that out for good and I'm trying to keep it under 2000 kcal/day - Yeah, that seems like a lot, but I am exclusively ...

There is just too much delicious food to be had here in Chicago and I was powerless to its charms!!

Now I have cut all of that out for good and I'm trying to keep it under 2000 kcal/day - Yeah, that seems like a lot, but I am exclusively breastfeeding my son and he's a hungry little dude! I want to make sure to keep up my milk supply and not get too tired. I have also been doing the 30-Day Shred. Starting at Level 1 and doing it properly this time, (slow and steady, right?) but looking forward to adding more cardio minutes when time allows.

Still looking for buddies and always up for a challenge! Just bought some heavier dumbbells and a big tub of protein powder, so this time IT'S ON!

My Goals:
Lose 20 lbs and keep it off! Exercise daily, have more energy, spend more time with my husband and kids, use/consume fewer chemicals, get outside more often, pray more, meet more people, eat more vegetables, drink more water, set a good example, and smile more often. :D

My Program:
- 30 Day Shred, at least 6x/week

- 8-10 glasses of water daily

- Under 2000 kcal/day

- NO fast food, alcohol, fried food, MSG, HFCS, carbonated drinks or artificial sweeteners, and as few white/refined starches as possible.

- As close to 8 hours of sleep as possible.

- SMALL piece of chocolate once a day (gotta stay sane!)

emoticon In case you are wondering…shortly after the beginning of 2012 I made a commitment to myself to check in on Spark Friends at least once a week…it may be a goodie, or a comment on your page, blog, or feed. I try to make it more than just liking a comment. While any reciprocation of support is greatly appreciated please do not feel pressure. I just decided that it is the quality of the friendships in my life not the quantity that makes me so blessed. emoticon

emoticon This being said, I have decided that the week after Easter I will be releasing friends who are no longer active on SP, I am setting the arbitrary level at 90 days inactivity. If you return to SP after that time I would love for you to add me back. It is not a decision to reject people it is a time management decision. emoticon
