Competition motivates me, and 4 years ago after winning a work Biggest Loser competition I lost around 90 lbs. I still had a ways to go to get me to a "healthy" weight, but it was the best I've looked in YEARS. After losing my job (downsizing) and my gym closing (and not looking for another one - stupid), I put back on 70 of those lbs over the course of a summer. I'm not making excuses though, everything I've done in my life was my own choice.

Last year (2011) my gym had a biggest loser competition and I completely dominated it, losing 9.98% of my body weight (the 2nd place person lost 4%). I continued doing well up until around the end of July, and then I just derailed. While I have not put back on all my weight, I'm only 10 lbs down from when I lost all my weight a year ago. I guess I can say at least I didn't put it all back on.

My gym is having a new biggest loser, and I'm not only pumped to win this again, but to also win my battle with my weight. I have an awesome girlfriend and I want to be healthy for us. I can tell a big difference in me now from when I lost my weight last year. I'm more tired/lazy, I'm not as happy, and usually just have an overall "blah" feeling. After losing all my weight I was more energetic, happy, and just liked to do stuff instead of just sitting around.

I know there will be setbacks, but I'm going to do my best to not let them get to me, or derail me off my overall goal.

Fitness Minutes: 4,722

My Goals:
1) To lose 25 lbs by the end of March - Lost 21, not too shabby.

2) To get 500+ fitness minutes in the month of March. - 410 minutes (actually disappointed that I could not find the time to get those last 90 minutes)

3) To lose 50 lbs by the end of April.

4) To get 1,090+ fitness minutes in the month of April.

5) To lose 70 lbs by the end of September (this will get me back to my 4 year ago weight).

6) To lose 95 - 100 lbs by the end of 2012!

My Program:
Low(er) Carb diet along with Cardio & Weights 5-6 days a week.
