Let me introduce myself. I'm 53, retired, and I got here by using Sparkpeople trackers. They work when you use them daily and honestly! I also find them FUN to use! I'm with with my husband, whom I absolutely adore, walking, hiking & biking in the summer, and snowshoeing in the winter! I love eating fresh organic veggies & fruit, and in April 2011 I went GLUTEN FREE. This resolved a lot of issues I was having with bloating and gas, hair loss, itchy skin & sleeplessness not to mention whacked out hormonal issues! Recently I had to start adding more protein and one of my most important goals is to have at least 60mg of protein daily. The more time that has passed on a gluten free diet, the more sensitive my system becomes. I've found that eating fruit or consuming sugar after a good meal will trigger a gas and bloating reaction. I have some outstanding recipes for gluten free things, but I have to use them in moderation, as they are calories not very well spent! Thanks for stopping by! -the mrs.

My Program:
Consume between 900 - 1550 calories a day. Strength train 3 times a week for 50 minutes. Cardio walk for 60 min every day
