No More Procrastinating

I have signed up to Spark People several times in the past few years but it hasn't stuck. I forget and end up eating a little more. In the past five years I have gained 20 pounds without noticing how much that really is. I tired of looking at pictures and thinking, who is that fat girl. No more! Since October I have started running on the treadmill. I made a goal for myself that I would run a 5K in March. This is a big deal as in October I couldn't even run for a couple of minutes without ...

In the past five years I have gained 20 pounds without noticing how much that really is. I tired of looking at pictures and thinking, who is that fat girl. No more! Since October I have started running on the treadmill. I made a goal for myself that I would run a 5K in March. This is a big deal as in October I couldn't even run for a couple of minutes without feeling like I was dying. Well its December now and I've been running more or less regularly (I've actually been somewhat consistent!!) and I can now jog 2.5 miles in 30 minutes. I'm halfway to my goal but haven't lost any weight. Now I need to stop binge eating and eating oversize portions. And I need Spark People to hold me accountable.

My Goals:
Short Term:

-Train to run a 5K in March 2010
-Plan 1 fun event every week with friends
-Eat Clean

Long Term:
-Eat smaller portions
-Drink 8 cups of water a day
-Stop emotional eating
-Get 8 hours of sleep
-Feel enegertic
-Look good in my green bikini
-Be happy looking at photos of myself
-Lose 30 pounds






My Program:
-Jogging on treadmill 3x a week
