UPDATE: May 20, 2013. I'm at a stand still. I need to light a fire to get moving again. I'm going to start back up again with the running. I think exercise is the key for me. I need to get moving and less eating. I've stalled around 25+/- pounds down. I need to lose another 30. When people start noticing I start getting complacent. I won't do that! I love my life..just not my size. I want to be smaller, because exercising won't hurt as much. Healthier means eating better...but eating better requires serious hard work for me. I'm a carb junkie. I'm the starchy potato chip & fresh bread with butter junkie. I could care less about the cookie, chocolate or cake in the corner. I want to try to get away from the carbs, not crave them. Work on developing a plan that includes lots of veggies.
Exercise is tough. It hurts. I am hoping to drop some more weight so I can start regularly running again. I was told for every pound I weigh it's 7 pounds on my joints when I run. So instead I'm trying to walk/bike. Tough for me to work up a sweat like that though.
So...I welcome any friends and folks that can offer me help & encouragement. Thanks for stopping by!

My Program:
I am on a new arthritis medication. I'm going to start my 5K training again.

I started with the C25K program last year, but had to stop due to a knee injury....Turns out I have a bone growth. No surgery for now.

Keeping under 1500 calories a day, less than 100 carbs.

Personal Information:
I live in Syracuse NY, on Oneida Lake.

I am a happily married mommy, blessed with 3 beautiful children. two boys(7,10) and a girl(1), all being C sections.

I am a systems engineer & working for the Great State of NY!

I am currently on Week 5 of couch to 5k! Tomorrow is Day 2 of Week 5. Run 8 minutes, walk 5 minutes, and run 8 minutes again.

I am dreading the 20 minutes straight on Day 3 of Week 5 but I am trying to stay positive.

How are you doing?!!! emoticon

Yea weight watchers is really great :) Its coming off slow still, probably 3-5 pounds a month, but its still coming off! I really love it, I think the accountablilty of actually having to weigh in every week keeps me on track. I pretty much do everything the same way i used to but i use points now instead of calories. And its really weird how i eat more fruits and veggies now (they hav 0 points) i didn't think i would "naturally" start eating more fruits and veggies while on it, but it really happened lol. I would reccommend it to anyone. How have you been doing??
