I am now a 48-year-old mom to a wonderful 11-year-old boy who likes to run too. I'm now in my second year of remission from Graves disease without surgery or radiation. I got lucky! I've got 6 half marathons done and am now training for my first full marathon this December.
I believe the secret to good health starts with a good attitude, clean food, and exercise. With these in place any and all therapy for chronic conditions will work best.

And congrats on your battle vs. Graves! I just got my bloodwork back and my ranges are normal and I'm on 5mg methimazole. Hopefully in the next few months I'll be synthyroid free and in remission! I feel great! congrats!!!

That's nearly sixty-five miless for this month! I think it's great! Why, three miles three times a week would only be 39 miles a month. You must be going for something big, like six miles four times a week. That's awfully ambitious when you've got a lot on your shoulders and you've got medical problems, too.

I'm impressed you logged sixty-four and a half miles!
