Welcome! to the 40+ and Want to be a Big Loser Team! I saw your post on the thread, and wanted to stop by and welcome you to the team that has been SO instrumental in my own successes. I have this team to thank for a boat-load of weight lost. Through their support, encouragement, and genuine caring, I have realized accomplishments that I had only *dared* to dream before. I hope that you find the same motivation from this team. May many successes be yours as well, as you embark on your renewed journey!

Yes, I do have a treadmill, but, it's a manual and difficult to manage, So I usually walk up and down my driveway. My driveway is about 1/8 mile and I make at least 8 trips per day. It's not easy and most times I want to cut it short, but I just keep pushing myself until I reach my goal. After I get comfortable with this goal, I'll increase my number of trips. I "do" belong to a gym, but since I'm out in the country, it just takes too much gas and too much time to bother with. One of these days I may start going regularly, but for right now, I'd prefer using my driveway. I'm very glad that Viet Nam did not impact you and your husband the way it did my husband and me. He just saw and did so many horrible things that his mind could not accept and it colored every aspect of his life. Til this day, he still has nightmares, so sad..................
Our relationship "has" improved over the years, but it's been very difficult. Pardon my "French", but I fully believe that damn war will follow him to the grave.
Well, enough of that, we're here to get as healthy as we can and I'm here for you. Feel free to contact me "anytime" you wish.
