My pride and joy!
WELCOME to my world of unlimited possibilities! I have been a member of Sparkpeople for several years. During that time I have had periods of weight loss progress, met a wonderful community of health conscience friends, and continued to seek out the best options for my optimal health.
Early this year, I made a life changing decision. I sought the assistance of Carolina Wellness and Weight Management Center. After much testing, consultation and prayer, I elected to have Weight Loss Surgery on August 15, 2011. I have no regrets, only exicting prospects for the future. I am off blood pressure and cholesterol meds! I no longer have ankle swelling or joint pain. I can tie my shoes without holding my breath. I now meet the weight capacity of the driver's seat of my car! My body moves differently and my mind is constantly thinking of new possibilities.
Some will find this decision controversial; maybe even cheating. All I can say is that I try to make good decisions for myself and family. This is one of the best decisions I've ever made. I am NOT recommending any course of action. There is no MD behind my name. But it is working for me in ways that I could not have imagined.
I HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER and I AM PROUD OF MY FAITHFUL AND COURAGEOUS DECISION!

DREAM BIG & WALK:
My big dream is to have the athleticism of Serena Williams, the sex appeal of my 30-year-old self, the fortitude of my mother and the work ethic of my father.
My personal program includes walking, strength training and portion control.
I am a 42-year old wife, and mother of two. I am an attorney by academic training, but have found my niche in court mangement, self-help services and teaching. I hale from North Carolina. I'd like to give and receive support on this journey. So push me and I'll pull you!
