Fitness Minutes: 13,071

My Goals:
I need to lose 25 more pounds to be at my goal weight! I want my kids to be like ' my mom? she's never someone who just sits - she's always moving'. I want to be comfortable in my skin and be satisfied with my comforts!

My Program:
I am now at a point where I do yoga almost every morning. I also try and challenge myself with planks, squats, lunges, pushups, and burpees. A basic circuit every morning. In the evenings I still love my zumba but I alternate with a run/walk and biking.

Personal Information:
I am originally from Georgia and now live in Springfield, OH. Mother of three kids, I work full-time and my kids are extra-active with outside recreational sports. I live in the country and we have a small animal farm. We love all animals and nature. God has blessed us!

Other Information:
I love all of the seasons and the 'things' that come with the seasons - yes, that includes the seasonal foods as well. I've learned that I cannot deny myself my favorites and that true willpower comes when I can stop myself from binging on my favorites and incorporate my favorites, in small portions, with daily, healthy eating!

    I go to Northridge United Methodist Church. You and I are going to have to get together one of these days. SERIOUSLY! Let's make arrangements. SparkMail me when you are available. I currently am not working so I have a pretty wide open schedule. I have the "Y" M,W,F @ 9AM and T, TH @ 10AM and this Tuesday I have to go to the church for a meeting right after the Y. The rest of my time, so far, is open so let me know when and where you would like to meet. I have two daughters that work at Panera Bread; we could have lunch there and you might be able to meet them too. They have some healthy salads.

    How is Zumba going? How have you been doing in your weightloss and toning? I have started the water aerobics at the YMCA. I love it! A bunch of the ladies in the locker room after swim class said, "Well, it's off to Zumba," and I thought of you and I thought about going but I had to leave for another appointment. I am determined to try that OR they have Ballroom Dancing classes at the Y as well. I am thinking of trying that.

    Thank you for reading and responding to my blog. To answer your question, I have been in and out (mostly in) the therapy for 3 years and am doing things that I had no longer dreamed of doing. Someday, I hope to throw the wheelchair to the curb and who knows maybe even the walker. emoticon

    The one who made the comment about rolling shorts up was me..(I also created the topic) I think someone else agreed that they do it to. Those are the kinds of shorts I wear rolled up TWICE on top and baggy in legs so they ride up and show EVERYTHING because they dont touch my legs they just hang there...
