I'm a Sparkler through and through!

I have been sparking for 2 years now. I'm a single mom with 3 grown children and 1 1/2 grandsons. I am constantly evolving and growing (mentally and emotionally) BUT I am also shrinking--physically.

I lived most of my life as a size 7 or 9. I was that woman others hated because I was thin and they weren't. Then about 12 years ago, I began emotional eating and gained---drum roll----60-70 pounds. I hated it! I spent the first year on SP losing 40 pounds. I spent the past ...

I lived most of my life as a size 7 or 9. I was that woman others hated because I was thin and they weren't. Then about 12 years ago, I began emotional eating and gained---drum roll----60-70 pounds. I hated it! I spent the first year on SP losing 40 pounds. I spent the past year gaining and losing 15 pounds. I could kick myself in the rear. I now weigh what I did a year ago (which happens to be what I weighed when I delivered my last child) Now it's time to really move forward. I have re-committed myself to this program whole-heartedly.

One of my life changing sayings---I can't remember where I found this, but I didn't create it:

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
Love the people who treat you right.
Forget about the ones who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy.
They just promised it would be worth it.

right now, I just want to get back to doing all of the healthy things I was doing 2 months ago!

I will achieve my goals by continuing to trust God, eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly, and never stop learning new ways to improve.

Personal Information:
I live in a rural area a little north of Memphis, TN. I have become a healthy lifestyle advocate by teaching those close to me everything I learn about food production, whole foods, and healthy eating. I recycle, reunse, and try to make my carbon footprint as small as possible.

Other Information:
I love kitties!

I think I'm actually beginning to understand bacterial genetics. And that's a little scary!
