Hi! My name is Emily and I am a food addict..........

-Welcome Emily!

-No I am kidding, sort of.
I am ready to get off of this crazy DIET ROLLER COASTER. I would say I have been buying a ticket to the roller coaster on and off for most of my life. A little bit about my background. I come from a HUGE family-there are six children (Catholics) 5 girls -one boy. He's the spoiled one. Anyway, there are all different shapes and sizes within my siblings-short ones, tall ones, thin ones, athletic ones, EXTREMLEY thin ones, and yes then there is the big ones.
Honestley I would say I fall somewhere (currentley) somewhere between the big ones and the athletic ones. But pushing towards the bigger side of the spectrum. And I use the word currentley because I have been apart of the skinny side and the extremley skinny side (that was only for about 3 days though). Last summer I even trained to run a MARATHON! I was running anywhere from 18 miles a day (this is where I stopped due to a vacation to FL that through me off my motivated course) to 35-40 miles a week!! I must admit it was the most ambitious athletic thing I have ever done and it gave me (still gives me) the coolest edge! I mean think about how awesome it feels to say that you cant go out partying on Friday night because you have to get up to run 18 miles at 5 o'clock in the morning! And I didnt even get to the actual marathon! Would I ever do this again? i dont know, I think I made a mistake by jumping in head first to a marathon-probably should have started with a 10k or something a little easier (consider the fact that I am not a runner-had never ran more than 3 miles straight before I started the training calander) After I quit running in about August of 2009, I kissed my kickass runners body goodbye and all my bragging rights and headed for the couch and the comfort food. While I was training I deffinetley wasnt depriving myself. I would eat a large pizza and wash it down with a pint of Ben and Jerrys because I knew once I ran the next day I would lose weight.
Stop running (and any physical activity for that matter) + a stressful retail job + eating whatever I want whenever I want = FAT!
Now I am here to stop this once and for all!! (I think...-I have commitment issues)

Personal Information:
I worked as a makeup artist when I began my career life ( I still free lance) and I decided that no matter where I went with that career retail would be involved and I am a family person. I quickly found out that people that work in a retail world dont have much time for anything else. Since there are no other jobs avaliable in this crazy time I decided it would be a prime oppurtunity to head back to school and become a student. SO here I am...studying to be a High School Creative Writing teacher!!

Other Information:
Need the most help on accountability and follow through. Need a good support group!
