Hi ,and welcome to my Sparkpage!

The quote above really hits home with me because so often in the past, I have looked back and thought "If only I had started this time last year, I'd be there by now". That feeling of regret isn't a nice thing to live with and over the past few years, I've almost forgotten what it feels like to really be proud of myself for something.

2011 is my year to change that. My goal is to lose 100 pounds this year. It's scary to actually put my goal out there for everyone to see, and it's a scary number. I've only been able to make small dents in it in the past, but when I think of it as 8 pounds a month, or 2 pounds a week - I can do that! I know I can.

I am genuinely excited (and a little bit intimidated, in a good way) about the possibilities that 2011 holds - and I'm determined that this December, I'll be able to look back on the year and say "I did it!"

I have been a member of SP for over 4 years now but this is the first time I've written anything on my page, or actively participated in any way. I adore this community for its spirit of positivity and the support everyone offers. So if there's anything I can do to help you on your own journey, please let me know!

My Goals:
- Weigh 120 lbs
- Learn to cook (and love) healthy food
- Start running
- Regain my positivity and self-belief
- Look in the mirror and be happy with what I see


My Program:
1. Exercise at least 6 days a week
2. Eat within my calorie range every day
3. Drink 2 litres of water per day
4. Work through my weight issues either by writing in a journal or posting blogs on SP



Personal Information:
Commuting and my job take up at least 12 hours of every day. This will hopefully change next autumn but until then, I just have to make time to exercise and cook the right food to get me to my goal.
