Breaking the Barrier

My Reasons Why:
1. Women die of heart disease.
2. I don't like the feeling of shame.
3. It hurts when all of your friends wear two pieces and you have to wear a one piece specially designed to make you look slim.

My fitness goals:
1. Do at least 20 minutes of yoga 5 times/week.
2. Walk at least 20 minutes per day.
3. Do Zumba or belly dancing 3 times/week.
4. Hike once a week.

I'm having a really, really difficult time losing ...

I'm having a really, really difficult time losing the last ten pounds in my weight loss journey. My goal weight is 130, and my goal size is a 4. I'm currently at 140 and a size 6, which is a healthy weight for my height (5'7"), but I'm not satisfied quite yet. I want to lose the last ten and firm up!

My Goals:
Over the last few years, I've lost 20 pounds. It's been a long, slow journey, and now I just have ten more to lose before I reach my goal weight of 130 pounds.

My Program:
I'm trying to make changes that I can sustain throughout my life. 30 day programs and such just aren't sustainable... I have to make changes that I know are reasonable and that I won't give up on.

I live in Las Vegas and I run a kick-ass travel blog, Travelated.com.

I did the shred yesterday and arms are pretty sore today. Will see where I go from here, pushups are hard on my wrist and shoulder but will try to do what I can.

I have not been doing the Shred but definitely need to get back to that and the Firm. I did these both about a year ago alternating days and had great success. New month so a good time to start!
