Hi Dorothy, I'm Sheila one of the leaders on the Christian Living team. Just stopping in to see how you are doing. I looked over your page I think you will do great with your goals this year. I see you are taking care of your mom. I did as well till I couldn't do it any more because of my back. That is a hard job to do but you need to make time for yourself. Just take it one day at a time sweetie but please make time for you. If I can do anything for you or if you just want to talk I here for you any time okay. I will keep you and your mom in my prayers. I will also put both of you on my church prayer list. I wish you all the best!
I'm not smart enough to do anything good, so yes, it must be God that put you, my friend, on my heart. You are making such an incredible witness and example to the people who watch you care for your mother. I can only imagine the toll that this season of life is exacting on you, but I know you're going to make it through.
God is most active and fully alive through us when we can back up and get out of the way. You keep laying your burdens at His feet (and don't do like me and go pick them back up! I'm working on that).
I hope you get lots of hugs from your precious friends and family that you are able to see on a day to day basis! Hugging you from afar - Jules 2991 days ago
I just read your comment about Power Cleaning... I can't believe I never thought to get dressed for it! I do super cleaning too, or play other dorky but useful cleaning games, like work when the radio is playing music and stretch when there's a commercial, or have to hop around the house to put things away or the purposeful deep bend or squat to pick things up. I haven't found a game to play for washing dishes though, and if I try and speed though them they don't get very clean.... PS. Love the name! 3005 days ago
